The Shropshire Energy Programme

Free advice, energy assessments and grants for energy efficiency.

edit

The Shropshire Energy Programme offers local businesses free expert energy advice, helping you to understand your current energy usage and where you could make improvements to save you money and carbon, or even get your energy strategy started with a carbon reduction plan.

From cafes to manufacturing sites, the scheme is designed to support a wide range of SME organisations looking to reduce their energy bills and improve operational performance.

The Shropshire Energy Programme can also offer grant funding to invest in energy saving technologies. Grant funding is limited and administered on a first come, first served basis.

The programme, funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, is available for businesses to register until the end of April 2026, with any assistance and grant funding needing to be completed and claimed by the end of June 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to future-proof their operations and become more resilient to rising energy prices.
