We all know how tough it is running your own business.

That’s why it’s so important that support is available to all small business leaders to help them make the most of their business – and grow and thrive as much as possible.

That’s where the Government-backed Help to Grow: Management Course comes in.

The course – which has been tried and tested since 2021 – offers practical tools and expert guidance to help your business thrive and is 90 per cent funded by the Government.

It spans 12 weeks and includes 50 hours of leadership training that fits around your schedule.

Delivered by the Small Business Charter through 60 accredited business schools across the UK, it combines online learning with face-to-face sessions. You will also receive ten hours of one-to-one mentoring and join peer group sessions, giving you access to a valuable network of like-minded leaders.

Each module focuses on a key area of business growth. Topics to be explored include strategy and innovation to keep your business relevant, how digital adoption can boost productivity and ways to win new markets.

Other topics include marketing, branding, organisational design and employee engagement. Practical case studies and proven frameworks ensure everything you learn can be applied directly to your business.

The course is designed to give business leaders all the skills they need to lead on the delivery of increased profitability, innovation and growth.

Some of the business leaders who have already completed the course are glowing in their praise.

Anthony Main, founder of The Distance, has grown his business by 23% since completing the course.

“I knew the Help to Grow: Management Course was going to be good for me”, said Anthony.

“But the impact came in unexpected ways – including the sense of camaraderie and collaboration I experienced with my cohort.”

Co-founder and CEO of Accu, Martin Ackroyd, said: “The Help to Grow: Management Course has given me the skills and confidence to take our business to the next level.

“Learning from a mix of key business frameworks and real-world case studies, we have been able to successfully drive revenue growth from £8m to £12m in just one year.”

Because of Government support, small business leaders pay just £750 to join the course.

To join the Help to Grow: Management Course you should:
