Herefordshire businesses can access free professional training for their teams, thanks to a partnership between Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and Heart of Worcestershire College.
Until 31 July 2025, the majority of the Chamber’s training courses are fully funded, offering Herefordshire businesses the chance to develop their workforce without any financial investment.
What’s in the programme?
The programme offers a range of courses covering essential business skills. Examples include:
- Digital skills: intermediate and advanced Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics 4 workshops, and search engine optimisation
- Leadership and management: managing performance in teams, role of the team leader, and assertiveness and confidence training
- International trade: practical guides to exporting, import procedures, and understanding export documentation
- Customer service and sales: delivering exceptional customer service and sales techniques
- HR and employment: employment law updates and HR for non-HR managers
- Professional development: train the trainer, effective time management, and professional telephone techniques
Training sessions are delivered both virtually and at the Chamber’s Worcester venue, with courses running throughout June and July 2025. All training is delivered by professional trainers and consultants.
