Sales Development Programme

The UKSPF funded Sales Development Programme is now live and aims to help small and micro businesses strengthen their sales skills and grow their customer base through a mix of tailored workshops and one-to-one mentoring for SME businesses. The next workshop will take place on Thursday 26th February from 10.00am to 12.00pm.

The support, delivered by European Innovation, will focus on practical methods to help businesses to secure new contracts, improve sales performance and build sustainable customer relations. Workshops will cover:

• Understanding the sales process
• Customer acquisition and prospecting
• Sales techniques and negotiation skills
• Responding to public and private sector tenders
• Using digital marketing and CRM systems to support sales
• Building a sales plan and tracking performance

Businesses taking part will have the opportunity to learn directly from sales experts and apply the techniques to their own growth plans supported via mentoring.

The workshop will take place at The Quad, Floor 3 European Innovation, Ironmasters Way, Telford TF3 4NT.
