An inspiring day of connection, conversation and celebration, bringing people together at this very special venue.
We’re back for 2027 – and this year, we’re taking International Women’s Day somewhere very special.
Following the fantastic response to last year’s event, Shropshire’s annual International Women’s Day celebration returns for 2027, bringing you all together for another inspirational day of conversation, connection, networking and lunch.
This year, we’ll be gathering at the Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre – a venue with an incredible story of its own.
Steeped in history and synonymous with sporting excellence, Lilleshall has been home to some remarkable people, achievements and stories over the years. From elite sport and its world-class facilities to the important work of the Battle Back Centre, there is so much here to inspire us – and we’ll be weaving some of those stories into the day.
The 2027 event is being delivered in partnership by Shropshire Growth Hub, Zebra PR, Invest in Telford and Lilleshall National Sports & Conferencing Centre.
You can expect an uplifting and thought-provoking day, with opportunities to meet new people, hear different perspectives, share experiences and enjoy a brilliant lunch in this unique setting.
We’re keeping a few things under wraps for now.
Our speakers, programme and full details will be revealed over the coming months – but tickets are officially on sale.
If you joined us last year, we hope you already know just how special this event can be.
And if 2027 will be your first time joining us? We promise, you won’t be disappointed.
Come on your own, bring a friend, get a group together – and join us as we celebrate International Women’s Day 2027 in Shropshire.
