Breakfast for Better Business: Engineering the Future

Breakfast for Better Business: Engineering the Future

Harper Adams University’s Breakfast for Better Business comes to The Quad in Telford on Thursday 19 November. This edition, sponsored by Unitemps Harper Adams, takes the theme Engineering the Future: From Talent to Innovation.

Jennifer Hughes, Director of Telford-based electrical control and automation specialist Transicon, will talk about how the engineering sector is developing and why it needs more women in its ranks.

Gareth Jones, Managing Director of In-Comm Training, will look at the local skills shortage, the education pipeline and Telford’s role in the UK’s engineering sector.

Between the talks, non-rapid roundtables replace the usual 60-second intro, giving you time for proper conversations and quality connections. Breakfast is served from 8am and the event closes at 9.45am.

The event is free. Organisers ask that each organisation books no more than two tickets.
