Businesses across the Marches are being urged to take advantage of a packed programme of support this June, with more than 30 Business Academy events scheduled to help firms to grow.
The programme brings together expert‑led webinars covering everything from digital marketing and financial management to export opportunities in India and Mexico.
Organisers say the scale of activity reflects growing demand from businesses looking for practical, action‑focused guidance to help them grow at pace.
Among the highlights this month are weekly sessions covering SME funding and financial management.
These sessions aim to give business owners the financial confidence they need to manage cashflow, identify growth funding and build stronger relationships with lenders. Events take place on June 3, 10, 22, 24 and 29.
Digital capability is another major focus. The Digital Edge series features webinars designed to help firms improve their online presence, boost sales and make better use of digital tools to reach customers in the UK and overseas. Sessions run throughout the month, including on June 4, 9, 12, 15, 17, 19 and 22.
For companies with international ambitions, the Academy is also offering targeted export support.
Pitch Perfect: India returns with practical guidance on navigating one of the world’s fastest‑growing markets, with events on June 5 and 26 and more dates to follow. Meanwhile, two specialist sessions on CPTPP opportunities in Mexico will help businesses understand how the UK’s membership of the trade bloc could open new doors. These take place on June 15 and 29.
Three Business Skills events on June 9, 10 and 16 will support entrepreneurs looking to strengthen core capabilities, while a dedicated Making Tax Digital session on June 18 will help firms understand upcoming changes to tax reporting requirements.
