The Depot Charging Scheme provides support to fleet operators on the costs of installing charging infrastructure for electric HGVs, vans and coaches at fleet depots.
The depot charging scheme aims to support the uptake of zero emission HGVs, vans and coaches by part-funding the installation of charging infrastructure at fleet depots.
The scheme covers 75% of chargepoint and civil costs incurred, up to a maximum of £1 million across all sites. There is no limit to the number of sites you can apply for, but the scheme is limited to one application per organisation.
The scheme is open to public and private sector fleets, local authorities and non-profit organisations, located in England, Scotland, Wales and/or Northern Ireland.
The application window will close on 28 November 2025 or when funding has been exhausted (whichever is sooner), and works must be completed by 31 March 2026.
