Shropshire Skills Hub (phase 2) is offering a Fully Funded vocational qualification to economically active individuals (employed or actively looking for work) resident in the Shropshire Council Local Authority area.
Shropshire Chamber of Commerce is working in partnership with two local delivery partners: Inspired Mindset and SBC Training, although courses are not limited to these providers, we do also have several grants available up to £1,500 for one qualification per eligible individual.
This Programme aims to support individuals obtain a fully funded vocational licence, certificate or qualification. The qualification must provide professional knowledge, technical skills, and/or work experience relevant to a particular career and occupation, e.g. car mechanics or cosmetology. The funding is not available to support skills enhancement in a current role.
By addressing local skills needs we hope to create high skill, high wage job opportunities for Shropshire individuals. UKSPF Shropshire Skills Hub aims to contribute to economic development, retention of talent, creation of new skills, and support career progression by retraining and upskilling local people.
